This wasn’t designed as an ordinary educational programme that parents and teachers force students to attend. This was actually an opportunity to create new friendships, discover hidden talents, learn new skills and be one’s best self.
Everyone must have heard every adult saying “School was the best time of my life”. What make teenage years great are the many new experiences that they have. By learning more about the world, they learn more about themselves. School camps, fests, sports days and other events teach them how to work well in a group and about what they’re good at. This comes in handy over the coming years of life.
The students heard their idols in different industries- music, writing, acting, politics, business etc, speaking to them about their experiences and what it takes to become successful.
The kids t got to meet other teens from different parts of the world who told them first-hand what their country is like; what the issues are that they face, what music they listen to, what their lifestyle is like, and what their beliefs are about our home country. This surely gives a huge advantage when one has to travel for work or study later on in life.
Do you remember the last time you won an award, topped a test or even made a wisecrack that everyone loved? Well, the environment at Teen Fest gave many new opportunities to the young students to do their best, again. To top it all off, the many games at the Fest made sure that they had fun all the while.
Teen Fest aims to be the platform through which youth from the ages 13 to 19 gather and exchange experiences. It fosters communication, personality development and provides opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, so teens grow up to become confident and dynamic global citizens.
