This isn’t an ordinary educational programme that parents and teachers force you to attend.
This is an opportunity to create new friendships, discover hidden talents, learn new skills and be your best self.
You must have heard every adult saying ‘school was the best time of my life’. What makes teenage years great are the many new experiences you have. By learning more about the world, you’ll learn more about yourself. School camps, fests, sports days and other events teach you how to work well in a group and they teach you what you’re good at. This will come in handy over the coming years of life.
You’ll even get to hear your idols in different industries- music, writing, acting, politics, business etc, speak to you about their experiences and what it takes to become successful.
You’ll get to meet other teens from different parts of the world who can tell you first-hand what their country is like. What the issues are that they face, what music they listen to, what their lifestyle is like, and what their beliefs are about your home country. This will give you a huge advantage when you have to travel for work or study later on in life.
Do you remember the last time you won an award, topped a test or even made a wisecrack that everyone loved? This environment will give you many new opportunities to do your best, again. To top it all off, the many games at the fest will make sure you have fun while you’re there.
Teen Fest aims to be the platform through which youth from the ages 13 to 19 gather and exchange experiences. It fosters communication, personality development and provides opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, so teens grow up to become confident and dynamic global citizens.
